Duttapulia Union Academy has grown gradually into one of the reputed and prestigious institutions in the district of Nadia as well as in West Bengal since its inception in 1949. Since then this school has committed itself to achieving quality education, ensuring hygienic school environment and providing all benefits to the students of the locality. The students of this school mostly belong to the backward sections of society and minority and yet the results in every field whether academic, sports, various competitions are overwhelming. The faculty members are excellent in terms of curricular and extra-curricular activities. We take initiatives to bring the students in close contact in respect of practicality with the subject they are learning from books.The healthy relationship between teaching, non-teaching staff and students makes and paves the way to properly channelled all round development of our pupils. We offer at present two vocational courses namely Information Technology and Health-Care . Our next target is to introduce Computerised online Student-Zone to fulfil students' requirements in a smooth,quick and hassle-free manner. Various Government Schemes are being implemented for the betterment of the students. As the Head of the Institution I welcome all who want to be a part of this school to advance it in a better position and look forward to the active and hearty co-operation from each and every one.
